We are a young team of highly motivated scientists, which are working both on setting up new instrumentation as well as cutting-edge research.
If you are interested to work in a stimulating environment with people of different cultural backgrounds and are curious in exploring the physical phenomena in strongly correlated electron materials, we would be happy to talk to you.
Ideally, you have strong communication skills and a background in condensed matter physics.
Please also take a look at PhD projects of the group. There are a number of funding routes, including through the condensed matter DTC and, for joint projects with the Max Planck Institute for the Chemical Physics of Solids and excellent international candidates, the International Max Planck Research School.
For further information don’t hesitate to contact Peter Wahl (wahl[at]st-andrews.ac.uk). Please also take a look at the various fellowship programmes which can support a research stay in the group.
