Carolina de Almeida Marques

My research focuses on using low-temperature scanning tunneling microscopy to investigate strongly correlated electron systems, such as the strontium ruthenates and transition metal dichalcogenides. Using quasiparticle interference, I aim to establish how electronic correlations impact the electronic structure of these materials and the consequences to their macroscopic properties.
